Midsummer Classic Team Registration
The League Legends Midsummer Classic is an outdoor 5 on 5 basketball tournament played at 498 Ryan Road in Florence, MA. Players of all ages, genders and abilities are welcome to play. The tournament is played under adjusted rules based around The League's raw pick up basketball style that the tournament's origins were founded on.
Event Details
Where: Legends Court, 498 Ryan Rd Florence, MA 01062
When: Saturday 7/20/19 Games start in the early afternoon (exact times determined after registration ends). Playoffs start approximately at 4pm.
Cost: $150 per team due paid in full by Friday 7/12 at 8 pm. Teams who miss this deadline will lose their spot in the tournament.
**All payments required before the tournament. No exceptions.**
Teams: 6 players minimum / 9 players maximum. It is a 10 team maximum field preference given to teams with 6+ NHS alumni or current students or teams that played in the past year. All other teams not meeting this criteria will fill the remaining spots in the 10 team field or be placed on a waiting list where they will be notified if a spot opens up by Thursday 7/11/19 or sooner.
Format: Teams are guaranteed at least 4 games each. There will be 2 preliminary sessions. Session 1 is from approximately noon to 2pm and session 2 is from approximately 2-4pm. Official times will be released at the end of registration. Teams may select the session preference at the time of registration. Teams will be assigned to a session based on the order they signed up and availability in that session. Teams will be seeded after preliminary round and placed into a single elimination playoff.
Prizes: The winning team will receive commemorative t-shirts
